AUTOSAR Classic Platform (CP) Advanced Training | 1-3 Days

Target Group
  • Users who already know the basic tool usage and the general AUTOSAR concepts
  • Users who would like to enhance and deepen their knowledge in special areas (e.g. optimization tasks, requirements for functional safety, new technologies)
Facts
  • Duration: 1 or 2 Days each
  • Training Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm
  • Maximum Number of Participants: 14 Persons

Each event focuses on one topic. Individual events do not build on one another and can be booked independently.

Content

You already know the basic tool usage and the general AUTOSAR concepts, and you need to know more in special areas? In this training you learn how to use MICROSAR software and tools in order to satisfy your project requirements.

Each event focuses on one topic. That way you can build your training according to your personal needs. Individual events do not build on one another and can be booked independently. You can only visit those parts relevant for you.

Hands-On
MICROSAR Ethernet - with hands-on exercises!

In this training you will gain a fundamental knowledge about Ethernet Physical Layers (PHY), TCP/IP and protocols that are commonly used in Automotive applications. You will learn about the connection of Ethernet and TCP/IP to the AUTOSAR Software architecture. In this training we will take a detailed look at the most important Automotive use cases. You will learn about their general mode of operation as well as the according configuration principles in the AUTOSAR Software architecture.

In the additional practice you are going to apply the previously learnt topics in several exercises. You will configure the MICROSAR Ethernet Software in an emulation environment (vVIRTUALtarget Basic) for these Automotive use cases. The resulting Embedded Software will be executed on an emulated ECU in CANoe.

Duration:
2 Days
Target Group:
ECU Developers
Prerequisites:
Participation in the training program “AUTOSAR 4 in Practice” or a good AUTOSAR knowledge.
Goal:
Obtain an overview on the usage of Ethernet in an AUTOSAR based ECU. Acquire practical skills to configure a MICROSAR.ETH stack.
Agenda
  • Overview and Introduction
  • Basics of Ethernet and TCP/IP
  • Ethernet in the AUTOSAR Software Architecture
  • Overview of Automotive Protocols and Use Cases
  • Diagnostics over IP (DoIP)
  • SOME/IP and Service Discovery (SD)
  • Universal Calibration Protocol (XCP)
  • Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and AVB Use Cases
  • Exercise: Diagnostics over IP (DoIP)
  • Exercise: SOME/IP - Service Discovery (SD)
MICROSAR Safe

This training will give an introduction to MICROSAR Safe - Vector's solution for ECUs with safety-related functions. MICROSAR Safe enables the freedom from interference for safety related software parts with different ASIL levels and for non-safety-related software parts (QM software) within the same ECU (Mixed-ASIL-Systems). Learn how to develop a clean partitioning for Software in a Mixed-ASIL ECU.

Duration:
1 Day
Target Group:
Developers of ECUs with safety-related functions according to ISO26262, Safety Managers
Prerequisites:
AUTOSAR Fundamentals, AUTOSAR in Practice, good knowledge of ISO26262
Goal:
Fundamental knowledge of the technical concept of MICROSAR Safe, learning how to work with the MICROSAR Safe Solution
Agenda
  • Overview of the Concepts used in MICROSAR Safe
  • Measures and Mechanisms for Functional Safety at Software Level
  • Memory Protection and Safe Context Switch (SafeOS)
  • Flow control of Safety-related Software Components (SafeWDG)
  • Safe Communication between ECUs (SafeE2E)
  • MICROSAR Safe at Application Level (SafeRTE)
